Jim and Joani Kissock own and operate Kissock Horse Center (KHC) in Butte Montana. This is a training, lesson, and boarding facility located about ten minutes south of Butte. Kissock Horse Center has an 80 x 140 indoor arena, a 100 x 200 outdoor arena, round pen, 25 stalls, outside stalls, and turnout pastures. They presently board approximately 60 horses. Joani is a clinician, judge, trainer, coach, and instructor. She takes great pride in her students and horses as they continually achieve recognition across the northwestern United States and Canada. Joani has served on the boards of MQHA, MSHSA, State 4-H Horse show
committee, and the MSU Equine Advisory Committee. She is a certified NARHA
instructor and co-founder of Butte Special Riders, a handicapped
riding program for children. She has been a 4-H horse leader for many
years in Silver Bow County. In June, KHC hosts two very popular training
camps for youths and their horses. Joani and Jim are alumni of Montana State University. Their daughters, Britt and Erin, now live in Spokane where they maintain the family tradition of showing Quarter Horses. Jim and Joani attribute their success to God, family, and their clients. |
